In addition to their mobile app, eRoutes developed a web app for users to plan walking routes.
Working alongside their backend and API development team, I was responsible for the app's UI / UX design and development.
The app will request access to the user's geographical data and if granted, immediately suggest 3 routes starting at their current location.
Users can customize distance and starting location and search for additional routes by placing a pin on the map or search for a specific address / location.
The selected route shows every turn in the way alongside an elevation map
Routes are purchased using credits at 1 credit a pop. Each registered account receives 3 free credits.
Additional credits may be purchased in the shop, either through a montly subscription (allowing the subscribers to generate infinite amounts of routes), or on a one-by-one basis. Purchased routes are stored in a user's Saved Routes.
Saved routes may be exported in various formats to be used in fitness tracking apps, or printed as a booklet.
